This page was designed for the purpose of helping people, educators specifically, find research dealing with education. The first selection answers the question "What is Educational Research?" In here there are some links to a few web sites about educational research.

The next section, How To Use Educational Research, is a very important section because this explains some reasons as to why and how a person would use educational research. This is beneficial to anyone in the educational field as either a teacher or an administrator. The information in this section is also important to the parent and community member interested in what the schools in your area are doing.

For those people who may be wondering how to find educational research on the internet, we have two possibilities. First, there is a section called "How Do You Search The Web?," which gives some basic hints on how to use a search engine or web crawler to aid in your search. The second is the list of sites under the Related Sites section. In here there are several different sites dealing with education and educational research, each with a brief description.

The very last section is Meet the Makers. Here everyone who has had a hand in this page is listed with a link to their own personal homepage where you can e-mail them.

Have fun and let us know if you have any complaints, ideas or questions. You can contact the whole group by sending an e-mail to mtuk12-l@mtu.edu.
